Os Rage Against the Machine (também conhecidos como Rage ou RATM) foram uma banda de rock americana. Foram uma das bandas mais influentes e polêmicas dos anos 1990.

Uma forte característica do RATM é uma mistura de hip-hop, rock, funk, punk e heavy-metal, com letras enérgicas e politizadas. Junto com a música de protesto, demonstraram a luta pela causa política, contra a censura, a favor da liberdade e em prol dos menos afortunados.

O som do grupo é bastante diferenciado, devido ao estilo rítmico e vocal de Zack de la Rocha e as técnicas únicas de Tom Morello na guitarra.
